Nearby Golf Courses

Desert Springs is a luxury golf resort, with colourful buildings set in an emerald green oasis, right in the middle of the arid lands between Vera and Cuevas de Almanzora. The easiest access is from the road running between Palomares and Cuevas de Almanzora.

Valle Del Este, in Vera, is an 18-hole golf course which has been carefully designed to combine holes that represent a real challenge to the player, with other less strenuous holes. The golf course has been designed by José Canales, paying careful attention to every detail and integrating the course into the surrounding landscape by making use of indigenous vegetation.

Cortijo Grande, just beyond Turre, is a 9-hole course at the foothills of Sierra Cabrera Green fees are payable at the El Cortijo Grande office in the Old Almazara Building, which is open every day from 8am to 7pm. Groundsmen will collect fees outside these office hours.

There is also a course in Garrucha on the main road to Turre, as well as the 18-hole Marina Golf in Mojacar.
