If you have had your fill of golf greens, how about trying some of the other sporting activities in the area.

·  There is a heated swimming pool in Garrucha

·  The AquaVera water park is 2km away on the road to Villaricos

·  Diving is available -- with Scuba Jive or other diving schools in Mojacar and the
   surrounding area

·  Go-karting is a fun attraction just off the main road to Turre

·  Many horseback riding facilities are available, including a few that do pony trekking
   in the mountains and accept children as young as 5 years old without requiring you
   to purchase special insurance

·  You can fish off any of the local docks or rent a small boat to spend a day at sea

·  Two nearby airfields offer light aircraft flights and lessons; the one in Garrucha
   also does microlight flights
